Beach lifeguard courses start this weekend,
last places available

Sunday, there will be few days this year as busy and long as today. Lifeguards from two courses were assessed in beach lifeguard, first aid, CPR and rescue, a number of TA were moderated, new rookie instructors started placement.

That on top of ten lifesaving groups active with both water and dry classes.

The volunteer crew were outstanding this weekend with a massive number of crew supporting the trainee TA in the sea, on the land, in the pool. Many thanks to the visiting NTA and Mentor, a pleasure as always.

There are way too many people to acknowledge and thank individually, you know who you are, go raibh míle maith agaibh.

We do need to acknowledge John on his appointment as a RLSS Beach Lifeguard Trainer Assessor (NBLQ) and also one other thing........

lots of crew and seniors worked their butts off on Sunday and then went on to put a hard evening but when we got to the pool we went to grab some people to sort the gear to find it done.

Not by crew, not by seniors; by swimmers who saw it wasn't done and just did it

this is a team journey.
