On the beach Sunday at 6

Great day on the beach for summer lifesaving kick off

Next swim and  your work for Sunday

Whats happening ?
Rookie  - Beat the crew on weather and tides:
Your Rookie challenge for next week is to look at met Éireann for weather reports and wind direction, download the app to you device or mom and dad’s if you can or you can visit a library and have a look online on Met Eireann  - or listen to the weather forecast  remember the challenge is to know Mondays forecast – on the beach we'll see if we can see the weather coming by looking at the cloud, wind and forecast. There is some great live information in Howth here.

Find the tide times for July - need a hint? Who else would need to know the boats visiting Dublin Port or perhaps the sailors in the Yacht Club who need to use the Harbour?

S&S / Seniors
Your challenge is to download your S&S Beach book here - it’s got everything you’ll need if you are going for bronze silver or gold. RLSS Beach Lifesaving Awards
you need this if you.......
                                        Have a bronze medal:

                                   Don’t have a bronze medal:
                                       Have a silver medal:
                                               Have a gold medal:

 Next swim Sunday at 6
off beach at 8
in time for the 8.15 DART

Where’s all the gear?
The eagle eyed among you will have noticed a distinct lack of boats and ski- a lot of the gear is in storage following the break in  - the basics of AED, First Aid and torpedo buoys are in place and you will see the rest coming back in stages during July.
